2006 SUMMER IN THE CITY TALENT EXHIBIT

This exhibit will celebrate the accomplishments of young people in Arbor Hill by exhibiting works they create during the summer of 2006.

WHO: Arbor Hill Youth, Ages 5-18.

WHEN: Exhibit opens Friday, September 29, 2006 with a celebration of talent from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Ten Broeck Mansion, 9 Ten Broeck Place, Arbor Hill

WHAT: This exhibit will focus on work in four categories:

  1. Visual or performing art, including video and audio productions
  2. Writing, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and spoken word
  3. Heritage exploration, including family histories and cultural knowledge projects
  4. Civic engagement, including projects that bring positive change or contribute to the well-being of the community, or focus on national, state, or local politics.
