Customizing anatomy and physiology instruction based on multi-media presentations
Cooperative studies with faculty at Albany Medical College, Wadsworth Laboratory and Albany Pharmacy focused on undergraduate research studies in these laboratories
RESEARCH ACTIVITIES:
Science majors interested in the use of Computer Technology in the
Biological Sciences work with Dr. Theresa Wysolmerski, CSJ and learn how to create, design
and construct short anatomy and physiology concept programs using varied multimedia
techniques , Toolbook program and design HTML "study guide biology pages".
Also, Dr. Theresa Wysolmerski, CSJ, in collaboration with faculty from varied local and
national institutions offers qualified students the opportunity to conduct mini
independent study projects in histology, anatomy & physiology, and zoology. These
studies enable students to work with researchers during regular semesters or during the
summer sessions. The purpose of these internships is to give the students further
experiences in learning how to gather, read, analyze, and present experimental data, both
in written form and orally.
