Major Minor Concentrations

 

Psychology majors are required to complete a minimum of 52 credit hours, including at least 6 credit hours from each of the three core areas; Psychology as an Empirical Science, Psychology as a Social/Developmental Science, and Psychology as an Applied/Clinical Science.  The design of this major assures that students have a well-rounded background in the field and are generally prepared for a variety of careers and graduate programs. Students wishing to focus on specific career paths may select courses that allow them to concentrate in a particular area (See Concentrations).
