The Department
of Counseling and Educational Leadership
is made up of three program areas. The Counseling program provides professional
training for students interested in pursuing professional work in counseling in
the following settings: schools, communities, and colleges. The College Student
Services Administration program provides professional training for students interested
in pursuing professional work in college student personnel ` (pending approval by
the New York State Education Department). The Educational Leadership and Administration
program provides training for students interested in pursuing the School Building
Leader (SBL) and School District Leader (SDL) certifications.
